Wow! This Mutrek Back Seat Extender for dogs/pets is a product I never knew I (& my 5 dogs) NEEDED! It’s extremely durable, which is important because all of my dogs are extremely active/hyper, love to dig their nails into anything, & seem to be always on the move lol. This piece fit perfectly into the backseat of my Jeep Wrangler. I had absolutely no issues laying it out & securing it for safety. It has comfortable padding for my pups, which we all appreciate. It’s a solid “hard” bottom, but the padding allows my fur babies to stay calm & supported throughout our road adventures. One of my pups did have a small accident on this seat extender, but thankfully it was easy to clean off of this material quickly so that we could continue on! As mentioned, I have 5 dogs & this back seat extender can hold up to 440 lbs. That’s HUGE when it comes to a car product like this for your pets. We buckle them in & now know they’re safe & sound on top of this seat extender. I couldn’t be more thankful & I’m sure my pups are too! Highly recommend!

This seat cover is life changing. I bought a new car and was dreading putting my dogs in the car. This was the perfect solution. They can't slober on anything, they are comfy with extra room. It allows the AC to flow to them. Absolutely perfect.

I love this thing. The supported bottom is solid (held my 195# body w/o issue). Now, the only thing is that because it's solid, it's not very comfortable. Initially, my dogs wouldn't lay down on it, but with a couple blankets or a bed, it's fine for them. Someone could make a lot of money creating a cushion that's exactly the same size for them 🤣The connections to the seat that holds it up seems strong, it was easy to install, and it's super easy to use 💪 folds easily if you need 1 of the seats for a person, it looks professional, and fits my 2013 Lexus RX350 perfectly 👍

Very easy to put together and up. I bought different safety belts for it as I wanted something better. It came with 1 but I knew already what I wanted so I ordered different ones so what is pictured is not what it comes with (safety belts) however my dogs are able to lay out without falling off, it’s easier on their joints and bones! They absolutely love it and fall asleep so much better than without it as we drive ALOT and I take them whenever I am leaving for long drives. It has places to lock in through the seat and around headrests. It truly adds length to the seat, the quality is great. Worth the small investment! My dogs are comfy and secure and I’m a happy dog momma !

Pros: Our dogs, Swedish Vallhund & Basset Hound love having the entire back seat to stretch out, roll over, etc.The vented section in the front, fits just right over the AC vents, allows the dogs to get fresh air, smell the 'traffic, farms, etc'.First time out, one of the dogs got car sick... what a mess! But, it washed right off, what a relief.Goes on easy and fast, plenty firm and folds up when it's space is needed for something/someone else.Dogs each have a padded bed - but the way they're stretching all over the place, a 'doggie mattress' to cover the whole thing, is probably the way we'll go.

I'll try to get a picture next time I use this but let me just say... BUY IT!!!! My two sons have big dogs and I just got a new vehicle with leather seats and didn't want them on them so I just happened to see this and it was cheap so I ordered it to see if it'll work and we used it today to take one to their vet appointment. My son and I both set it up but it's so easy that one person can set it up and take it down with no problems!! It covered the whole back area completely, the sides zip close and latch to the grip hanger thing. It is amazing!!! I don't mind having to take them anymore in my vehicle!! It's well made, seems like it'll hold up so if you want to keep the dogs off your seats in the back... Buy this!!!!

It works very well. I am a Porter for an animal groomer and pick up dogs daily, and it helps to save the wear and tear on the seats.

This cover works great! I have an 11 week old puppy and she does so well in the car now. I also love that the strap actually buckles into the seatbelt clip to keep her safe. Highly recommend!

Assembled and installed in just a few minutes. This is a nice upgrade from the dog seat cover that does not have the seat panels. There are 6 plastic corrugated panels to install. These are sturdy enough to support your dogs and help provide more space in the back for your dogs. The walls are higher than my previous back seat cover.Dogs love it as they were jumping in the car as I had it installed halfway.This was installed in a 2022 GMC Terrain.

Wow! This is great! Good quality and looks really nice. My pets love it. Worth every cent way better than the other one I bought that cost 200.00 this is a steal.

We love this product! We have 4 herding dogs, they travel with us everywhere and shed like crazy. This cover holds in all the hair while giving our crazy crew plenty of room to stretch out. The base stretches from the rear of the front seat to the back seat, giving them more room than if they were just hanging out in the back. It also has a great texture to give them more comfort and more traction as our seats are leather, so they don’t slide. It’s strong durable and holds up to the high traffic. I really appreciate that the sides zip up and attach to the panel handle, keeping them from rushing me when I open the door. We will absolutely be purchasing another for our other vehicle. Thank you for making our travel easier!

liked it so much in my husband's corolla, I bought one for my corolla cross suv. It fits and it stays in place. idiot proof to put together. If you do have a person that needs to sit in the back, it has a quick release buckle over the rear headrests and folds up fairly flat against the backs of the front seats. Haven't used the side door cover but it tucked easily into the seat and hasn't moved.

I bought this seat cover thinking that I could fold it in half and just use one side if I needed to, and leave the other side of the seat open for a passenger, but there are no openings for the buckles in the seats to come through. So I had to return it because I intended to use it underneath my car seat. However, for people looking for a protective Car seat cover where their dogs can roam freely. This is great material and good quality and does a good job covering the seats.

Seems to fit my Kia Sorento with captain chairs just fine. Our 90 lb Goldendoddle likes it.

Bought this for my 2026 Toyota RAV4. With my old RAV, I always kept the back seats down for my German shepherd and other cargo. This seat cover went in easily and creates a "crate" for my dog. Items can still be easily put on the floor under the seat. It looks good, and it is a practical way to protect the back seats from damage and provide a comfortable, safe area for the dog.

Off the bat, I was nervous about how this would fit in my tiny VW Beetle, but I was able to make it work!I got this because we now have 2 dogs and a cat. The dogs will be the ones using this, of course, while the cat uses her carrier in the front passenger seat when we have to take them to the vet. And I didn't mind that the size of the seat extender was bigger, because we can use it in both vehicles, not just in my tiny Beetle.Our previous issue was the space/ the drop from the seat to the floor, as well as the dogs trying to run out of the vehicle before we had a chance to safely get them out, and this will solve both of those issues already.The extender came perfectly packaged, it is super sturdy and incredibly easy to set up/ figure out, even if you don't look at their included instructions. It definitely seems like it is a nice sturdy product, clearly water-resistant, and the zipper quality is nice as well. I even ordered a pet bed to add to it, but even without that, it seems that they would be comfortable enough while using it.The bottom of the extender comes with sturdy load-bearing boards that you add, 3 for each half of it, so there are 6 total. The trick to getting it to fit in a tiny Beetle is to only use half of the extenders' bottom. So instead of using 3 boards per side, I doubled it up and used all 6 on the front half of the extender (2 boards per section, which was still able to zip up perfectly afterward).You can tell which half is in the front half because it's the same side as the mesh panel that allows them to see into the front seat. That is the portion that they would fall down into anyway, so it works out perfectly. I also didn't want the extra panels to get lost, so the fact that they could still fit was brilliant!Everything else still works perfectly fit-wise, the straps go over the seats and can be adjusted. Each half has a long zipper to install the boards. So with 1 zipper you can access 3 board placement slots, and another long zipper for the other 3.Then, of course, if we need to switch to the other vehicle, I can easily take the straps off the headrests and move it over. I only got the 1 extender to test it, and they usually ride in the Beetle 99% of the time anyway. The owner of the other vehicle has pet allergies, so we try not to have them in there/ if we do, we have to deep clean it afterward.Anyway, I'm incredibly happy with this purchase, even though I was nervous about the size at the beginning. Luckily, it worked out perfectly in the end!

This is excellent! The quality is high, as the material is very thick and the seams, especially on the corners, are sewn well. Plus, the quilted pattern is not just attractive, it also means extra strength in the body of the material, making it more difficult for the dog's nails to scratch or tear through.I have a Jeep, and this covered my entire back seat amply and without gaps, draping over the edges and securing easily, with material to spare for tucking to keep the cover in place. But it can also be extended to hook over the front seats, made steady by placing the hard padding beneath to create a sort of backseat playpen. It works equally well either way. I must say, though, the bottom padding is substantial, so I would not feel nervous that it would collapse under the weight of my dog, especially with the thick, adjustable straps. It is an excellent way, in fact, to keep the dog from sliding onto the floor during travel.This was easy to clean as well. It was waterproof for sure, because as I sprayed it with the hose, the water ran right off. But so did the dirt. Another feature I appreciated were the big storage pockets. I stuffed some treats in one and bandages in another on our trip to the vet. This extender also folded up easily for storage, and the fold lines made it clear how to wrap it back into its original condition in a snap. Both the pockets and the packability make this super convenient!It was also pet friendly, which to me is the most important. My dog did not mind riding on it and did not fuss about the fabric or straps. He just lay in my lap and enjoyed the ride. One more thing I appreciated is that while this is not a use mentioned in the description, we were able to use this seat cover as a makeshift stretcher to efficiently slide my pup out of the car and carry him into the office. It was so sturdy that he wasn't even scared as we did this. All these features made this back seat extender even more of a win for me!It's definitely worth the price and has become a staple feature in my car.

Yes, I watched the videos before I bought it a week ago. Saw it about a week before and ordered it then, saved $5-10.Got this for a Rav4. Wanted the light color to lighten the inside of the dark car.Went together VERY EASILY, SUPER SIMPLE. Will be easy to take apart and wash when needed.Picked up this baby at the vet the day I put the cover in the car.So nice not to worry about her falling between the back & front seats!I work with shelter pups and you never know what's gonna happen in the car. I looped the side support strap around the handle on one side, but just half unzipped the corners on the driver's side where I placed her in the back, then zipped them back up.It wouldn't stop a determined dog, but good to have that little mesh-barrier in front of the opening at the armrest.Also included a tether with a metal end to snap in the seat belt buckle and a plastic clip for a harness. Only a collar, no harness on this baby so I wouldn't want to strangle her in an accident, however, i might get a harness and a tether with a heavier clip to use with my owns dogs as we are usually on the interstate when they're riding.

This is my third attempt at buying this no other seller was able to actually deliver the product, it never made it to shipped. I have waited months to finally get this. This purchase came within a couple days. Bought the bed separately - mostly fits really well. I have a Jeep Cherokee. Bed might be a couple inches too long. Excited to finally try this with my dog so he doesn’t have to be cramped in the back the net might be more useful for smaller dogs I have a GP AS mix who will laugh at this net lol. Overall super happy I have a comfy looking spot in my car for my sweet doggo with a slight attitude.
